Archer A6 v3.0 has 2 open issues occurring randomly.

 

1) Reboot issue

Problem: Router reboots with all LED's turning off and turning on again

 

2)Internet led turns amber <Attached photo for reference>

Problem: Internet is getting disconnected for few minutes and getting reconnected again. During this time Internet LED is turned to amber

 

My Setup/Config:

Connection Type - PPPoE

ISP Modem: Bridge mode

Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1

Secondary DNS: 1.0.0.1

Connection Mode: Auto

MAC Clone: Do not clone MAC address selected

Operation Mode (Switch Mode): Router

Wireless Settings: Smart Connect is turned ON

 

Note:

Monitored ISP modem and found no issues. All LED's is green when either of above 2 issues occur.

May I know who is your ISP? What if you connect the modem to the computer directly, and dial up on the computer, will you get a stable connection? Please check the guide below to dial up a connection directly bypass the C6 to confirm, only when you get a stable connection from the ISP modem can we get a stable connection on the C6:

If the modem connection is confirmed to be stable in this way, then check and ensure the cable between the modem and router is good, try to plug it firmly on both sides, or change with a new cat 5e/6 cable.

 

Please confirm how often does this Internet disconnect issue happen? How often does the auto reboot issue happen also? Is the router hot when it reboots? Try to disable the NAT boost on the router web GUI, then confirm again.
