Hi, I have UK version RE450 V2.0 bought in Singapore. I'm confusing which firmware version to choose to update.

RE450(UK)_V2__200914 Latest version in UK website.
Published Date: 2020-10-14

RE450(EU)_V2_210301 Latest version in SG website.
Published Date: 2021-04-22

My room have very few wall sockets, some places are akward and not very ideal.
I found the best sweet spot for speed boost and overall located at toilet / bathroom.
And... I help my wifi extender to "wear" a sock to prevent humidity / steam, I know very weird.

1) Will the humidity cause the wifi extender spoil while taking hot shower, etc...

2) Do I need to extend the external antenna to work properly?

3) During setup, I can't find for 2.4GHz in list, but it works well on the 5GHz setup.

If your device is of UK version, please use UK website firmware RE450(UK)_V2__200914 Latest version in UK website

If RE does not see router's 2.4Ghz, you could change a different 2.4Ghz wifi channel for router to a channel between 1-11.

Too much humidity that will affect lifetime of your device, and here is operating humidity for your reference;

Operating Humidity: 10%~90% non-condensing

Unfolding antennas will help with the WIFi signal, you could have a test in you WiFi environment.
