Model: Archer A5
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 0.2 v0093.0 Build 180313 Rel.54477n(4555)

My Archer A5 got hunged up after restart thrice in 2 months. Nothing can be done to communicate with the roter. It blinks RED internet light while its restarting but it doesn't restart at all. The power LED keeps blinking.

@jroy

How did this get restarted, by powering off the router then powering it on? Can you confirm if the firmware of the A5 is the latest? You can update the router firmware by downloading the latest version from the website:

@Kevin_Z There is no definite number of restarting and it doesn't respond to reset either. It starts working again by restarting(no definite number). Yes I'm using latest firmware.

@jroy  That is not normal behavior, we recommend reaching out to the local tech support, so they can work with you in looking into the issue further or help with the replacement.

BTW, the firmware of your A5 is not the latest one, you can download it from the global website, we have reminded the local web admin to check and publish:
