Model: Archer MR400
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.9.0

I have been having tons of drops in connections. It is practically impossible to keep a video call running. So I was thinking in upgrading the firmware before trying anything else:

When I go to the Adavanced tab, I see the "Upgrade" button, and when i click it says "Download Failed".

Looking closer, it is trying to upgrade to this version:

Latest Version: 1.17.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200526 Rel.36799n

...

Notes: For Archer MR200(EU) 4.0

Since I have an MR400, Why is the router trying to take a firmware from a different model?

Thanks!

@crgarcia

Please verify its hardware version on its bottom label, then download the firmware from the TP-Link official website:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/archer-mr400/v4/#Firmware (this is for the V4, you can choose the one for your hardware)
