Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.5 Build 20201117 rel.41066(5553)

hi Team,

I purchased tp link archer c6 v3 (us) 2 week's back. it was working fine. but now it auto restarts and it's in boot loop for some reason. only power led and 2.5/5 gz led are blinking. then all went down and again star from beginning. wlan port is not even turns orange. I tried changing cable still no hope. reset to factory Default also not working. it was connected in PPPoE user name and password. when I remove the lan cable from the router the loop stops. and all 3 led light are solid n able to access setting. when I connect back the lan to router it starts reboot loop. however my old tp link w8968 was able to work fine with pppoe.

hear is log file:

@Vigneshwar

Which device is connected to the C6 LAN port? Does it need to be connected to the LAN to access the internet? What if you connect it to the wireless network, will it cause an issue?

BTW, who is your ISP? Please ensure you are using the original power adapter for the C6 router.

hi @Kevin_Z ,

My ISP is tic fiber(local provider). port is connected from optical fiber to ethernet convert ( ONT or GPoN ). yes it need to be connected to WAN PORT through PPPoE. it doesn’t have wireless connection. And I'm using powder adaptor came inside the box. My old tplink w8968 works fine without any issues. even I noticed wired thing in C6 after factory reset settings that I apply are also not changing eg. SSID name and password. even I tried quick setup, at end of it I gives me error with sad smile ☹️.

Did I get a defective one?

@Vigneshwar

If that is the case, we recommend reaching out to the local tech support, so they can work with you in looking into the issue further or help with the replacement:
