I recently bought an Archer C20, and it is providing very slow download speed over both LAN and WiFi.

I am on a 50 Mbps PPPoE connection.

When I plug in the LAN cable directly to the modem, and make the PPPoE connection on the PC, i get full speed.

When I use a different router (an ancient 150Mbps TL-WR720N), I still get the full speed.

However, if I use my newly purchased Archer C20, the downlod speed drops to 0.6 Mpbs only. The upload speed remains at 50 Mbps though.

The download speeds on both the wired connection and wireless connection are slow.

I have tried the following, in vain:

1. Ensured Parental Control is disabled (its disabled by default)

2. Ensured Bandwidth Control is disabled (its disabled by default)

3. Replaced the LAN Cable. I am using Cat6E.

4. Factory Reset the router a couple of times

5. There are no QoS settings on the router's web interface.

6. Used Archer C20 in access point mode with TL-WR720N as the main router. I got the full 50 Mbps then.

It is clear that the issue is only with PPPoE connection established directly from the Archer C20.

Would appreciate any support on this.
