Hi,

what chipset does TD-W9970_V4 use?

I'm asking this because the previous versions of this modem were best working modem here (because of BCM63381U chipset) but in the last version adaptor power has changed and decreased so the hardware definitely changed too and now for buying the new one (and also for keeping my own outrunning sanity) it is so important to know if the chipset has changed or not?

its 1 core 700MHZ ECoNet

Econet basicaly is a mediatek sub brand

i have bought it a week ago and it took so much to connect everytime since i turn off my modem for my sake every night

SNR wasnt as good as it should be on my legit 15.3 line but it was 11 at max

 

so i tooked a flashlight and i turned off lights and checked inside without opening it and as soon as i saw mediatek siting mid there i just refunded it today. 

now im waiting for a new TD-W9970V2 Or V3

 

if you have access to V3, V2, V1 dont care for production year just buy it already 😊🌹
