Model: Archer C50
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: Archer C50(EU)_V6_210111

Hi there, I have problem to set up Facebook wifi with my Archer C50 . Problem is that my Facebook page name is written in Cyrillic. When finished and save settings I receive Error 1. The only way to bring back to life router is to make hard reset. I try with different Facebook page with name written in English and everything is ok. Updated to last firmware, V6. Please help!

Can you please confirm which page did you get stuck with when following this FAQ guidance?

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2298/

Just out of curiosity, is Cyrillic your daily-used language?

Page linked to Facebook Chek-in Location (TP-link SOHO) in my case written in Cyrillic (Facebook page name created in Cyrillic). Pressing button Save - receiving Error 1 and Router dies. Need hard reset. I test with another Facebook page created in English - working just fine. I create and Facebook page with English name with the same map address as Cyrillic page - result working fine.

Bulgarian is my daily-used language.

Hi, the developer confirmed that there is no built-in Cyrillic character on the current router firmware, that is the reason why you cannot get the page saved when choose Cyrillic. Please create the Facebook page in English to use this Facebook Wi-Fi instead.

I bought this router for Facebook wifi connection. In description is not mention about this restriction. For me there is no way to make a new page. Page already exist and have thousand of followers. This is not a solution. Can you put in update for Cyrillic? I think that in V4 version its possible to connect to Facebook page created in Cyrillic.

@Rangel_Stavrev

Just to confirm again, can you show us the "Page linked to Facebook Chek-in Location (TP-link SOHO) in my case written in Cyrillic (Facebook page name created in Cyrillic).", and how did you change it to English, then it works? If possible, we would like to have a video showing the process, that how it works and how it is not, we may then ask the support engineers for more help. Thanks.

BTW, please send us the whole system log on the C50 router including those when you do those changes.

@Kevin_Z

See attached video. First Facebook page linked easy, second Facebook page in Cyrillic generate Error 1. No error log. If you need more video just say.
