AC1200 Deco E4 - Setup Okay - but no internet connection (although Wifi looks right)
** Please note - my unit not in Model dropdown ** It is a tp-link AC1200 Deco E4
I setup my unit - Setup process went smoothly.
Once completed, i could see the wifi just created and it said 'Connected, Secured' on my laptop
However I was unable to access the internet on laptop or phone that the setup was run from.
Reset device and repeated the setup - same result.
Changed the Ethernet cable and reset device, repeated setup - no change.

I was having the same problem with RSAWeb. For anyone else experiencing this, the issue turned out to be that I had to re-activate my fiber via their website before the internet worked.

Hi, After the setup, did Deco E4 turn white or red?
If you go to Deco APP>More>advanced>IPV4, is there any IPv4 address here?
By the way, who is your internet service provider?
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link Hi There,
It installed successfully (white logo - not Red).
I do seem to remember an IPv4 address, but didn't record it unfortunately.
I am in South Africa, Cape Town - I have fibre connection (100MBPS) with RSAWeb (used for over 1 year now).
I have reverted back to my standard router - i will try again this weekend.
(Please if you can think of anything else to try that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Steve.

Hi,
If there is an IPV4 address, I think we could try to change the DNS to have a look:

Hi, the IP settings are quite normal and Were you able to get internet service?
Would changing the DNS on the Deco make any difference?
please also try to reboot the ISP modem(or power off the modem for a while then power back) in case there is any IP-MAC binding;
Thank you very much.
