Deco M5 - Region / channel issue - devices unable to connect to lower 5Ghz channels.

Referring to this post https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/179556?page=2 where many other users had to get a special firmware from TP-LInk support.
Current issue. Some devices unable to connect to Deco M5 on 5Ghz because channel used is 44 and devices can only see channel 149 and above.
Problem does not exist when using older Tp-Link Archer C1200 where the 5Ghz channel can be manually set.

My old archer is 1.0.0 build 20170905 rel.41738 (EU). Hardware version archer C1200 v1.0. I set it to channel 149 and it works with almost all my devices, Iphone/ipad, Xiaomi and my other TV Boxes.
Only when I upgrade to my new Deco M5; some devices like 2x new Xiaomi phones and 1x iPhone 7 can only see the 2.4Ghz channel, and not 5Ghz.
Details of the devices that can't connect:
Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC Pro (just released earlier this year)
Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC (released last year)
iPhone 7 , IOS version 14.5.1
Other Xiaomi/Apple devices that are OK like
Xiaomi Mi 8
Redmi Note 4
iPhone 7 Plus
iPhone 11
iPad Pro
