Model: Archer VR600v
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: V2.0

Hi,

I've got an Archer VR600v router that doesn't come within cooee of the supposed coverage & have been using extenders to get signal to other parts of the house. Am looking at installing Deco satellites to provide a mesh.

Will the VR600v connect to & accept a Deco M5 (say)? Or is there another mesh device that's better suited?

Thanks.

@Dave88

Hi, it is ok to use Deco M5 to extend the wireless coverage of Archer VR600V.

A small notice: the main Deco M5 needs to be wired-connected to the Archer VR600V.

@TP-Link

Yes, the remotes will be hardwired via CAT6 back to the VR600v. Will use the 2nd port to connect the other hardwired users via a switch.

Thanks for the reply, off to get some & see if it improves my reception.
