Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Deco_X20_V1.2_1.5.1_20210303

Currently three Deco X20 units main one is h/w Rev v1.2 and other two v1.0.

 

I've been having connectivity issues especially moving in between the nodes we live in a 3 Level townhouse main Deco is in Living Room the other two are Master Bedroom upstairs and Office downstairs all are hardwired to Internet router in Garage. The Deco network is set in access point mode.

 

As per TP Link support suggestion updated Beta Firmware last night on main Deco v1.2.

 

Just contacted chat support to see if there was also Beta Firmware available X20 h/w v1.0 but despite my attempt to explain the different hardware revision models seemed to think the below Firmware should also work...I am hesitant to try don't want to end up with two bricks?

***UPDATE***

 

As suspected the Beta firmware v1.0 rev is different just updated will report back after a couple days fingers crossed.

Hi,

After updating the beta firmware, were you able to get a stable connection on the Galaxy S21+?

Have you ever tried to turn off the Mesh technology for the S21 on the Deco APP?

By the way, except for the S21, Does the rest of the devices have a stable connection?

@TP-Link It does seem much more stable so far running the beta firmware on both V1.2 main deco and v1.0 satellites.

 

I haven't disabled mesh on Deco app but turned off beam forming and fast roaming.

@TP-Link I'm still having issues even after updating the firmware on my V1 X20. S10, S21 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra all having issues "Connected without internet" but perfect fine on windows laptops and my iPhone 12.
