Archer A10 internet negotiation speed won't go above 100mbps, tried different cables and resetting router already.

Use a good quality, factory made CAT 5E/6 cable.

If that doesn't work change this setting and test again:

Hey, I already tried that and did all sorts of cable swapping, looks like the internet port is faulty as when I connect the Internet cable in lan port it shows 1000mbps duplex. I have a Cat 7 cable.

May I have the model of the modem that works with the A10? Try different LAN ports on the modem.

hey Kevin,

 

I have attached the pic.

Thing is the router that I am currently using has no issues with speed also with A10 when I lower the internet port negotiation speed it reflects the changes but does not reflect when I set it to 1000mbps.

yes Lan ports are fine I see 1000mbps duplex connection, hence it can only be a faulty internet port as I have tried replacing the cables from modem to router with cat6/5e/7 cables.

Is there a model for the Syrotech modem? 

 

How about the network bandwidth provided by your ISP? Is it possible to test the internet port with another gigabit modem or router to see if it can negotiate at 1000Mbps?

You can do the following quick test:

From the picture you posted, I see that you are using Archer C6/A6 to connect to the Syrotech modem.

You can set A10 in AP mode - (Case 1) and connect to the C6/A6 LAN port.

Thus you can see if the internet port can negotiate 1000mbps with the LAN port of C6/A6.

Cable connection in this case would be C6/A6 LAN port => A10 Internet port.
