Hi,

So I bought Archer T9UH V2.0 several weeks ago, and everything was okay until a few days ago when the adapter started acting up.

Basically, I have 150/15 Mbit connection speed, and while I am completely aware WiFi will never be as stable as ethernet, this shouldn't be normal behavior.

During the first days of usage, the speeds were between 130 and 145 Mbit. But since a few days ago, those speeds extremely vary. Between 5,15, 30, 50, 70, 100, and the download is extremely unstable. Sometimes, the download just freezes for a second. Etc.

I'm connected via 5GHz to my router which is about 10 meters away from my desktop PC.

I've noticed that other users have similar problems. Is this a hardware or a software issue? Is the adapter overheating?

I have changed the channels. I've noticed that someone is using WiFi on the same channel, so I changed to another one, which was free.

For now, the issue is solved, but I'm going to check the situation during the following days.

@p3r02d3r0 Hello,

It is recommended to change a different Wi-Fi channel on router and you could download WiFi analyzer app or software and select a relatively clean 5Ghz channel.

Also try to lower the channel width like 40Mhz on 5Ghz to decrease the interference and see if that helps with a stable speed.

To help isolate the issue is within Wi-Fi or T9UH, can you put a different device at the same location and run multiple speed tests, please compare the speedtest results on T9UH and a different device and share the speedtest results with us, thank you.

when test speed test please leave only 1 device on the network and close unnecessary network activities.

You could try this latest chipset driver for and see if help with the issue:
