Hello,

i have a TP-TD8950ND ADSL Modem/router ans i would like to use it only as a wireless router?

So i'd like to disable the dsl feature and configure it so it can accept my internet connection from a cable modem. Then, I would wire the cable modem to my TP-TD8950ND so i would be able to connect my computer and wireless device to it.

any clue if and how i can do this ?

The TP-TD8950ND is a ADSL modem and router at the same time.

i have switch for a cable ISP company amd the cable modem is only a modem.

So instead of bying a new router with wifi, i would prefer to see if i can use the TP-TD8950ND as a router.

The Anwser is no. ADSL 3 in 1 can't be use as a stand alone router... so it's not a router... the advertising is confusing.
