Firmware Version: 1.5.5

Good afternoon.

I have updated Deco firmware to version 1.5.5 from this official page: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/deco-m9-plus/v2/#Firmware 

 

After update, the second device began to lose contact with the main Deco. Everything was stable before the update.

 

Now on all Decos, except for the main one, red indicators are constantly on. After rebooting the main Deco, all other modules connect to it normally. Deco app shows strong signal. But after a few minutes, the red indicator on the additional modules lights up again and communication with the main deco is interrupted.

 

I visited this official page again looking for new updates or fixes. And I saw that update 1.5.5 disappeared from the official site.

 

Was it wrong and how to fix it? Are there any hot fixes or firmware updates for Deco M9 Plus planned?

@TP-Link Unfortunately, this method did not help to fix the problem. Satellites still lose touch with the main deco by air.

By the way, I checked under your TP-Link ID and there are also Dec P7, M5, M4 under the email and are they added in the same Mesh with 3-kit Deco M9 plus?

hello , I have same problem, and also Tp Link Turkey tecnical service couldnt give solution yet.🙁. How it fix this problem , if you know solution could you explain details? Thanks a lot

I tried this upgrade file, since 2 day I have tested it is solved. Thanks for supporting 👏👍. But i dont understand why couldnt solve it at Tp Link Turkey Tecnical Service ( it stay 4 - 5 day at service)

 

Ps: you can check my ID , you can see M9plus 3 pack V2. It is important I have never ever upgrade , because I am afraid to be problem.
