RE650 Wired Connection Not Working

Model: RE650

Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: latest

I have a RE650 with a wired connection to my laptop and it works perfectly. If I take the same cable and connect it to my android TV it will connect to the router but not the internet. I have reset both the RE650 and my router. I have done a hard reset of the RE650. I have changed my time settings and my DNS. This did work one time in the past.

Any ideas.

Yes but it turns out that the Ethernet fails connected either to the RE650 or direct to the router. So it is not an issue with the range extender.

@glennr Hello，

Do you mean laptop (with WiFi turned off) could get Internet from RE via Ethernet cable, but Andriod TV does not?

If possible, you could connect TV directly to router by cable and see if Andriod TV could get Internet from router, at the same it is recommended to contact TV support and see if TV could get the correct IP address or you may need to set up static IP in the router's IP range and see if that helps.
