Model: Archer C6U
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

After connecting the drive to the router and sharing the mp4 files on it, the computer and the TV see these files as m4a. Can it be changed so that the router does not change the file extension?

@pawelek5

What's the brand and model of the drive? How about its format and capacity? Ensure the mp4 files can show up correctly when you insert the drive into the computer directly, kindly show us the screenshots.

If possible, please test this with another USB driver or HDD, you can put some mp4 files into that USB/HDD, then check if they can show up correctly when viewing from the computer or TV.

BTW, how about other types of files, are they displaying correctly?

What is the hardware version and firmware version of the C6U?
