Future Consideration Support for Setting Archer MR600 as a VPN Client
Hello,
So i'm having this problem with my Router Archer MR600 which i bought 6 months ago and at first i thought it supported VPN's but when i started configuring it i found out that the router itself can be setup as a OpenVPN/PPTP VPN and not as a VPN Client and this is a really big deal for me because My ISP does not provide a public ip to me and my WAN IP is a private IP and that means i cannot do any port forwarding so a VPN is my only choice but i can still port forward with a VPN thro my PC and it's no problem but the thing is that the VPN has a limited amount of devices to connect to and i want most of my home devices to be connected to a VPN and setting up a VPN on my router would allow me to do that Easily but the Archer MR600 doesn't support that and i'm very disappointed at TP-Link for their Hardware feature supporting, at first i thought the archer MR600 does support VPN's but it doesn't and i spent so much on it that i don't wanna spend more on a new router just for a VPN. and i see no reason it doesn't support being set as a VPN Client and there's no benefit for me if i set this up as a VPN server since i don't go out that much.
this would make TP-Links Routers a much Better service since the popularity of VPN's is increasing Each day and more people want to connect their router's to a VPN cause it's easier and more reliable and secure.
I'm not a Networking Expert so i'm sorry if there's something preventing this to be a option on the router
But if there's a solution please Let me know
And i hope TP-Link would release a New Firmware for VPN support
Please put this at a Top Priority if Possible
Thanks...

@TP-Link Hi,
I join all the other consumers in complaining about this problem with Archer Mr600. Not only one cannot install a vpn on it, but my pc does not connect to wifi if I have a vpn installed.
This is a real problem as I am using a sim card (momentarily in Europe and needing wifi) and I also need a VPN because some of the sites I need are in the US and without a VPN they do not allow me access.
From what I have been reading only the mr6400 has such capability (at least Nordvpn says so).
I am afraid that I will have to return the router and change brand altogether (thanks to Amazon return policy of course)
It is a real shame and I cannot understand the reasoning behind tplink approach. It cannot be that difficult if other brands have been able to do it!!!!
Well, the complaints have been around for over a year, and I have the V2 update as well.
If there is no other option then.... adios Tplink and I suggest others do the same.

This feature should be standard.
All devices on this network need to be configured individually.
Regardless of the device, configuring the connection at router level should be the norm.
@TP-Link We are customers and you should at least answer us. Is that feature on your roadmap ?
