Hi,

May i know if mix tri band mesh x90 with dual band mesh x60/x20.

Eg. 2 unit x90 extend further with x60/x20.

Will it slow down the whole mesh network? Or the 2 unit of x90 remain performance fast.

The slow down only the extended unit x60/x20.

Thanks

@Ckh83

Hi, If there is a slowdown, it would only be on the extended units.

@TP-Link

Hi, if the setup like below:

1. Main unit x90 connect to unifi modem.

2. X90 satellite connect to main unit x90 (using dedicated 5g backhaul since tri band)

3. X60 connect to x90 satellite (using 5g shared backhaul since dual band)

My concern if it lost the tri band backhaul feature for satellite x90 unit when mix with x60. Then better to get all x60.

If the satellite x90 still running on tri band. Just x60 on dual band then still worth to mix.

Thanks
