Model: RE650
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

i have a problem that over the 2.4ghz it gives out 192.168.179.* and not 192.168.1.* as the 5ghz do.

Where do i do that? I tried to set it up manualy and turn dhcp off, but that resorted in all the net die and could not get in contact with it over web interface.

Might have put in something wrong when turning dhcp off. The RE650 do bounce from another frouter I use as a accespoint from the main router.

@Clowr  Hello,

When range extender has not connected to router, it uses IP range 192.168.0.X subnet.

After range extender connected to router successfully, devices connected to range extender get IP address from main router.

IP 192.168.179.X does not seem to come from the range extender, you could if there is a smart switch or other DHCP server in your network topology, or if the device is on static IP? May I know your network topology and what are the devices on 192.168.179.x subnet.

You could open type ' cmd' in Windows search box on the left coner and put in ' arp -a' to see what are the devices on 192.168.179.x subnet
