Hi,
I have a wife extender and I can see who is connected to the extender - one of the clients is just listed as anonymous a does anyone know what this could be?

Did you see the Anonymous client on the Tether APP.
Not all the devices 'Device Name' could not be correctly recognized and Tether app will list it as 'Anonymous' .
You could check the device Mac address to locate what device it is.
If that is not your device, you could set access control on the range extender and put it in Blacklist: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1404/

Tapo the Anonymous device, can you see the Mac address of that device.
You could compare with the Mac address of your other devices like TV, smart devices and if that is the Mac of one of your home devices
