Hello everyone,

 

We are happy here to announce that we now have released a new official firmware for the Archer C80 V1.  This update improves router functionality, stability, and performance including improved connectivity experience. For more details around modification and bug fixes, please review our latest release notes before installing.

 

A copy of the Release Notes:

1. Optimized IPv6 module.
2. Enhanced wireless security.
3. Fixed the compatibility issue with some special DHCP Server.

Notes:
1.For Archer C80 US/EU V1.

2.The firmware can not be downgraded to the previous firmware.

 

Customers can check for the new firmware on the router web GUI or via the Tether app, they can also download the firmware from the TP-Link official website to upgrade the router manually.

Note: Please check the device label to verify the country code and hardware version of your device first, and choose the correct file to download and install.

buenas noches actualice el firmware pero estoy teniendo problemas con reinicios inesperados la verdad si veo mas ligero y estable pero de la nada se reinicia y tengo trabjo virtual es incomodo porfavor espero la solucion

Can you please describe the issue in detail, then we can confirm? What is the symptom of the restarts? Are all LEDs flashing off then on, and the internet will be temporarily down then recover? If possible, can you take a video about the router status when the issue happens?

 

BTW, try to reset the router to factory defaults, then reconfigure it from scratch to confirm if the issue persists, thank you.

 

If the factory reset doesn't fix it, please save and send us the whole system log on the C80 after the router restarts itself (System Tool > System Log).

I honestly do not have an answer for that since I am not in software development and don't have access to the regional differences I can't give you a clear answer.

si las luces led se apagan y luego encienden me es imposible grabarlo, por que el suceso es inesperado y quisiera aprovechar y que si me puede indicar como usar el qos pongo mi ancho de banda y activo prioridad a mi pc para jugar por ejemplo fortnite pero alguien descarga y el ping se va por las nubes y tambien como abrir puertos en estos modelos por que encuentro tutoriales o imagenes de equipos anteriores que piden parametros diferentes al mio y que consideraciones tener para configurar exitosamente

y si se ingresa puerto por puerto o hay manera de ingresar todos los pueertos en una sola linea

It means C80 restores to factory when you upgrade this firmware,and you want to reconfigure it with qos and port forwarding?

Bueno ya se soluciono el reinicio intermitente, y del qos es un pregunta diferente a mi primera pregunta quisiera que me enseñen a configurarlo correctamente por que la verdad no veo efecto del qos en mi red cuando lo activo y de los puertos caudno hacgo cheker online ningun puerto abre

May I know how did you resolve the reboot issue? Or it actually doesn't reboot itself?

Regarding the port forwarding setting, if you want to open a port range for the internal server, input the port range in the External Port and leave the Internal Port blank to give it a go:
