Model: Archer C24
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: default (ES version)

I'm trying to use my Archer C24 to extend different Wifi 5.8G hotspots, like a Windows 10 hotspot. So, I'm extending a 5.8G main wifi network, without setting a 2.4G main, since I don't have one. Sometimes it works, I can navigate without problems in the EXT network. But after half an hour of so, connection drops, and status says connected (to main network) but with no internet connection. Main network works perfectly (as I can connect any device without problem), but the repeater cannot connect. I then try to reconfigure it, and it usually won't work again for some time. It's SO unstable, I cannot use it this repeater.

HW version is ES rev 1.0

@Archerdo

What's the distance between the Archer C24 and the main wireless router? Try to move them closer to each other if possible.

It's also suggested to set a static wireless channel on the main router, such as channel 44 or 48, then reboot both the router and the C24.

BTW, what is the brand and model of the main router? What if you extend its 2.4G network, will it be stable?
