Port forwarding failure using ddns provided by tplink
Hi There,
I have an issue with DDNS after using DECO X2.
Before this, I'm using another TPlink router without any problem.
The DDNS worked intermittently. sometimes work and sometimes not. Normally after reboot, it works again. Has anyone had this problem? how to solve this?

Hi, Did you use DDNS for remotely accessing the local server?
I think it might be the WAN IP address has not been timely updated on the DDNS.
Have you checked when the DDNS failed to work, what was the internet IP address, and was it the same as the IPV4 address on the Deco?
And please refer to this link to change the DNS server on the Deco to see whether it helped or not:

Thanks for your reply,
I have confirmed that the public ip address was correct. Even the public IP address was correct, my CCTV camera strangely works sluggishly, and no response. The video stream was freeze.
I know that there is something wrong with decoX20, and need to be fixed. I felt now I have to change back to the router which I have never been in this problem before. For me, this is a complete failure of this router for this purpose.
Lacking White list, intermittently problem with port forwarding and repeatedly need to optimize performances. Really I feel disappointed with this mesh router.
