Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 3.16.9 Build 160617 Rel.58968n

Today i upgraded to 3.16.9 Build 160617 Rel.58968n and realized i am unable to configure the router as an access point or repeater. There was a option called Working Mode. Is there a way i can downgrade/upgrade my router so get that option.

There is no working mode to choose on the router web GUI, but you can try to enable the WDS bridging on it to make it work as a repeater/extender:
