There is an ip address conflict with another system on the network
Region : Argentina
Model : TD-W8951ND
Hardware Version : V4
Firmware Version : 4.0.0
ISP :
Hello, I just bought this TP-LINK Modem Router for ADSL. Configured everything, using the Wizard.
I have internet, it works fast, but from time to time, a message pop-ups in Windows XP Taskbar saying "There is an ip address conflict with another system on the network"... This happens every 20-30 minutes. I close the message, and then after a while, it shows up again.
I have never had this problem with my previous Modem + Router, so I guess something is not configured properly in TP-LINK modem.
When I check "Interface Setup" -> LAN, it shows that every machine, Phone, Notebook has its own IP... Starting at 192.168.1.2. And the ADSL modem-router has 192.168.1.1.
I also tried "ipconfig /release, then ipconfig /renew" in CMD, but it didn't help.
Any ideas what could cause this?
