Hi there,

The TP link M5 system is great. There's only one problem: when leaving sleep mode of my laptop there is often a delay of about half a minute before connecting with Wifi. At every restart after shut off there is a immediate connection. My Asus Vivobook laptop has an Intel wireless AC9560 adapter aboard and is running good.

I tried several things but I am not well known with all the advanced properties of this adapter found in the device manager.

My M5 is version V3 and Deco version is 2.9.4 and the adapter uses 5 GHz.

I tried now drivers of the adapter.

Who knows the solution of this problem?

Thanks Alexandre. I couldn't find that option in my computer. In device manager of the wifi adapter I found the option "mimo energy saving". It said "Automatic SMPS". I changed it to "no SMPS". Is it possible this was the problem?

The problem isn't solved. Should there be another way to set the powermode off the wifi adapter?

Network card not properly waking up after Sleep/Hibernate is relatively common issue. You may wish to check support forums for your laptop and for its network adapter specifically. Googling "Wi-Fi won't reconnect after sleep or hibernation" might get helpful suggestions, too.

Hi, I happen to see a similar case about the DHCP issue after sleep mode.

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/269448?replyId=634226 (a little bit long record)

for this case, all the clients are affected and final the static IP configuration seemed to fix this issue.

Maybe you could have a try to see what happened.
