Hi Technician Team TP Link,

I'm having trouble with my iPhone XR, iPad Air 4th, MacBook Pro (Early 2015), connecting to slower 2.4GHz wifi in my home instead of the faster 5GHz wifi. I've noticed that other apple devices in the house will connect to the 5GHz no problem (iPhone 6s). I've tried resetting my network settings and that didn't work.  Any thoughts for a fix?

Thank you.

Regards,

Fahri

@fakhri1311

Hi, here are some suggestions for your reference:

1. disable the 2.4ghz on the main network.

2. enable the guest network with a different SSID for 2.4ghz only.

Then check whether iPhone XR, iPad Air 4th, MacBook Pro (Early 2015) could connect to the 5ghz host network.
