Hi,
Recently I bought TD-W8151N wireless adsl router, I have one desktop computer that connected to TD-W8151N via ethernet and wirelessly to one laptop,
IP Addr: 192.168.1.4, Subnet 255.255.255.0 and Gateway: 192.168.1.1 : desktop (LAN connection
IP Addr: 192.168.1.3, Subnet 255.255.255.0 and Gateway: 192.168.1.1 : laptop (wireless connection)
but I can't ping each other and also can't access the share folders between them., both computers can access internet.
Is there anything I missed the configuration setting of the router?
Before I use wireless, I connected this 2 computers using cross-type utp cable, and working good.
TIA

Yanto

are both of your computers using DHCP? suppose some firewall or antivirus may block the ping ...

Having the same problem, Same Router Model

So here currently the way i setup the router and pc

TD-W8151N -> 192.168.1.1

PC1 PC2 Media Player (SaMBa Server and Client Support)
Windows8 Windows8
(192.168.1.2) (192.168.1.3) (192.168.1.4)
(All of them Are DHCP Enabled)

Now the problem is PC1 Cant Send & Receive Ping from PC2 and the Media Player.
it also cant access shared folder in PC2 and SMB in the Mediaplayer. but it can send ping to router and router also can ping PC1

The Result it always "Request timed out"

All of them can access internet through the router, i also tried to disable windows firewall and avast in both PC, tried reset the router with default setting, tried to change the vlan setting to " Group2 ActoiveYes ID2 e1,w0,w1,w2,w3,p0,p1,p3,p4" but still having issue

PC2 and Mediaplayer (Wireless to Wireless) can ping each other, so the problem lies only in Wired to Wireless and Wireless to Wired.

Edit: The forum screwed the ascii >_>

I had the same issue. Deactivated the VLAN function (Advance setup -> VLAN) fixed the problem. Thanks Yantor
