Hello, I have wifi at home this link installed.
192.168.1.1 is a TD-W8961ND
192.168.1.4 is a linksys wrtt54gl
And I have two problems.
1) I can not see any desktops in my local net, and with old router I could see all, for example (diskstation, dm800, etc...) In my macbook air I can not see my NAS Synology and with old router I do.
2) All PCs that are conected to 192.168.1.4 have not IP. and DHCP in TD-W8961ND is activated.
How can I solve that?

make sure the DHCP on the linksys one is disabled, and tplink is connected to the lan port of the linksys......Ps: have trouble understanding the screenshot language.

MY IP IS ====== 192.168.1.20
If i do ping to 192.168.1.2 I have this:
"MacBook-Air-de-Antonio:~ antoniodavidtorres$ ping 192.168.1.2

I have this error since I change my old router 3com by my new TD-W8961ND.
maybe something wrong in configuration of TD-W8961ND, because i can not see any desktop of my home lan (workgroup)

I have the same problem. I have a W8961ND connected to a wireless switch via their lan ports. The DHCP is turned off on the switch, address 192.168.1.2. The DHCP is turned on on the W8961ND, address 192.168.1.1, DHCP range 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.199.
I can connect to the W8961ND and get an address with no problem.
I can connect to the switch and get an address with no problem.
The problem occurs when I try to roam between the two wireless connections. If I am connected to one and try to connect to the other one, I do not get an address from the W8961ND. It doen't matter which one I am connected to in the first place.
I have configured the W8961ND and the acess points SSID to be the same, and to be different. I tried the same and different wireless channels on the the W8961ND and the acess point. I have set the security to be the same on both. I tried setting the lease time on the W8961ND to 3 seconds. I have set up the access point to be the DHCP server and switched it off on the W8961ND. None of these efforts have worked.
It seems that there is some form of MAC address spoofing protection on the W8961ND. The only way I can change from one access point to the other is by rebooting the W8961ND, or try and connect and wait about 5-10 minutes for the W8961ND to assign a new address. This is the only way I can 'roam' and still have internet connectivity.

But the problem that occurs when i try to roam between the two wireless connections seems to remain.

Firmware beta on the italian page (really weird) solved DHCP problem. This is the changelog:
This BETA firmware of TD-W8961ND v3 has solved these following problems:
1:I can't use the bonjour application like airprint and WiFi sync, when iPhone is connected to TD-W8961ND v3.
2:My PC can't acquire an IP address from an AP which is connected to TD-W8961ND v3 in universal repeater mode.
3:The DHCP lease of IOS device offered by TD-W8961ND v3 is too long.
4:My PC can't go to Internet if it is originally connected to an AP, and now it is connected to TD-W8961ND v3.
5:The port of 7547 is still open even when CWMP function is disabled.
But the problem that occurs when i try to roam between the two wireless connections seems to remain.
