Firmware Version : 3.0.0 Build 101208 Rel.36427

Is it possible to determine the hardware version remotely? I have the router installed at a remote client site and want to do a firmware upgrade via ethernet from the local server, but have no way of actually driving out to the site at the moment.

do you use the wan ip to access the modem from remote site?

Yes, I do that.

I just want to know if there is anywhere where I can find the hardware version of the modem apart from actually physically turning over the device and reading it off the label.

After searching the firmware version of this TD-8840T, I think your modem is V3.
