Deco S4 - Daisy Chain - Beta Firmware
Good afternoon,
I spotted in a pervious thread reference to a beta firmware for the S4, testing the ability to pick the source AP for daisy chain. Is it possible to get hold of this? The farthest access point is trying to connect to the main Deco, despite being terrible signal.

Hi, The official firmware doesn't support setting connection preference yet but you can install the beta firmware here:

@David-TP When will this be available for S4 v3.6 (US)? I just got this mesh system and it is really dissapointing to find out I can't manually select which node my deco is connected to. I'm even thinking about returning it.
Any beta firmware available for my device?

Any hope of a new beta version or an updated official firmware with this included?
I'm on the latest 1.6.1 (no connection preference settings), so I can't downgrade to the beta 1.5.1

Hi, not yet. The beta firmware is still on 1.5.x.
If you don't mind, you could try to firmware recovery the satellite S4 (only the Mesh unit that hasn't connected to nearby Deco S4) back to 1.5.1 and select the connection preference.
