Hi, 

 

I have a M7350 that was bought recently and realized that when I plug in my SIM, the 4G line is terrible. The signal strength can only go to 1-2 bars with unstable line. I have tested with another SIM from other telco and it's the same. Tried plug the same SIM in my phone and the line is excellent with full bar signal strength.

 

Could this be the LTE band problem? Is there a feature to lock bands? Did some research that the firmware M7350(EU)_V5_201019 has this capability to lock bands but my current firmware is 6.2.2 Build 200821 Rel.1004n which doesn't have this capability? Any ways to solve this?

Hi, currently, there is no beta firmware for M7350 to lock the 4G band.

Here are some suggestions for you:

1. change the wireless channel to be 11 under advanced>wireless>basic settings>channel

 

May I know who is your SIM carrier?

As for the signal strength 1-2 bars, do you mean the 4G signal on the screen?

When M7350 is offline, is there any change on the status page, like the connection status became disconnected?—can I have a picture of this page when the internet dropped out?

Tested with two SIM carrier that is Digi and YES from Malaysia. Yes 1-2 bars is the signal strength on the screen. When the internet connection is worst until no signal, the status will still be connected just that the internet is terrible.

Would like to know this too, I have v7 however no band selection function. hope tp-link consider adding this feature.

I have the same issue. Bought a m7350 and put in a Lebara SIM in Val Thorens, France. The 4G signal is down to one pin or none. On My Huawei P30 have all 5 pins with the same SIM. And the signal is steady and strong. Any resolution to this issue?
