Hi, they would be used together.
The Deco M5 would work as a normal router and the difference would be that 2.4ghz and 5ghz use the same SSID.
During the setup, you might need to choose the same SSID twice.
And there is another thing I think you might want to know.
OneMesh is not compatible with Deco Mesh.
