4G Router TL-MR100 cannot access admin page on 192.168.1.1

Model: TL-MR100
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

My 4G Router TL-MR100 has suddenly stopped working properly. If I connect to the WiFi network it creates, I have no internet access (the corresponding light on the router is off).
I connected the router with an Ethernet cable to a computer, but I cannot access the admin page at 192.168.1.1 : nothing loads at all. I tried three different computers (two Windows 10 systems and one Linux) and several browsers (Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer) and the result is always the same (cannot access the page).
If I open a command prompt and I do

ping 192.168.1.1

I do get reply from the router.
What can I do?

@Lorenzo1234

Hi,

If a normal reset (power off -> power on) doesn't bring the router back to life, then try do perform a reset to factory defaults, which is usually done by having the router powered on and pressing and holding the reset button for > 5 seconds. (or keep the button pressed until you notice some sort of feedback from the router's LEDs)

In case even a factory reset doesn't help to get the router back working again, then I am afraid the router might actually have experienced some hardware failure during operation, which happens very seldom nowadays, but is not unheard of.

Hi, thank you very much for you answer. I tried a factory reset, but it didn't change anything... at the end, fortunately, I could give the router back to the retailer (I bought it only about 6 months ago) and I bought a new one, which worked flawlessly. As far as I can tell it must have been a hardware failure.
