Hi, I have been using Tp-link deco m5 and now have 5 m5s. I recently shifted from UK to Pakistan and took my deco's with me. However now I am facing issues with the 5GHz band wifi. Previously I was able to connect to the 5 GHz band wifi however, now when i switch off the 2.4 ghz I am unable to see the wifi network. I have investigated a bit and found that it maybe due to the difference in bands. Currently the m5's 5 GHz network is operating in channel 36 due to which none of my devices (except PC) is able to connect or even view the network. I have tried changing the time zone etc in the WEBUI of the deco but still no luck. Kindly look into the resolution of the issue.

@Bilmax1

Hi, I think you could try to find what are the supported bands of your 5G clients?

Band 1(channel 36-44) for 5ghz is a very common band in Pakistan and I see on their local websites, most of the products are EU versions as well.

@TP-Link

Hi thanks for the reply. The 5g bands for Pakistan are 149 153 157 161 165.

The devices I was using were able to connect to 5ghz bands when I was in UK but here in Pakistan they are not able to connect. I'm using the same devices.
