Wifi Guest Network not isolated from LAN devices when using 5GHz
Operation Mode = Router Mode
I have configured an Archer C24 with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks and have also created both a 2.4GHz and 5GHz Guest WiFi network.
The Guest permissions "Allow guests to see each other" and "Allow guests to access your local network" are NOT selected. My understanding is that this should then prevent any Guest WiFi users from accessing any of the devices connected to the wired LAN ports.
I have a laptop connected on the Archer C24 via cable, and it has a TCP listener running on it.
If I connect to the C24 using the 2.4GHz guest WiFi, I cannot access the TCP Listener on the laptop nor can I ping it. This works as expected.
If I connect to the C24 using the 5GHz guest WiFi, surprise!!! I can connect to the laptop TCP listener and can also ping it. This should not be allowed.
For completeness, if I connect to both the non-guest WiFi networks, I can ping and connect to the TCP listener on the laptop. This is expected
Is this a bug, or have I misinterpreted what the Guest network is allowed to do?
