Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.11 Build 20210730 rel.54485(5553)

My internet connection speed is 500mbps download/upload. The QoS feature of the router is capped at 200MBPS. No matter what the speed I put (IE.999MBPS) it will still be limited to 200MBPS unless I turn off this feature completely. QoS bandwidth limiter is a basic feature that should be working. Firmware updates does not address this issue. This is a disappointment for this product. Anyone else have this issue and maybe a solution?

@Winterchill

Hello, if the QoS is configured incorrectly, it will affect the actual internet speed you can get. This is an article showing how to disable it or configure it correctly, please check:

@Kevin_Z I have read the thread you pointed me to. I am surprised that the solution to the buggy QoS feature of the router is to not use it/disable it. It is clear that your message is that QoS is only intended for < 250mbs internet speeds but then that shows that the UI of the router is badly designed (IE. allows option of limiting speed up to 999mbps but only works up to 200+mbps?).

I thought a firmware update by now should have fixed it or at least still in-work. It is not working properly and you have no plans to fix it - this is what it looks like. Thank's for the response though.
