Ax50 not connecting to Eufy Homebase2
Ax50 not connecting to Eufy Homebase2
I bought Eufy security cameras. They require to have a wired connection with a Eufy Homebase 2. The archer AX50 doesn't see the homebase. I had to disable the firewall and enable DHCP but still no internet connection. All the ports are working because my other product still work. I really don't know how to fix this. Every review I read about eufy is that it's easy to install. Does anyone know what to do?

Is the Eufy Homebase 2 connected to the AX50 wireless network, which band does it connect to? You can follow the user guide of the Eufy Homebase 2 to link it to the AX50, then connect the security cameras to the Homebase 2 with Ethernet cables.
If all the other devices are connecting to the AX50 network fine, I would suggest reaching out to the Eufy support to get more help. If there is anything needs to be modified by their support, you can report back.

@Kevin_Z the homebase has to be connected with an ethernet cable. I already tried different cables and different ports. I think the problem lies between my router and the homebase but don't know how to solve it.
I don't know what "band" means. Sorry.

If the homebase is connected to the AX50 via a LAN cable, please ignore the "band" question I asked. Regarding band, I mean the 2.4G or 5G signal, which are for wireless connections.
Please check if the homebase can get a correct IP address from the AX50 when it is connected, be sure it is in the LAN IP subnet of the AX50, otherwise, they cannot communicate. Contact the homebase support if you don't know how to find it out.

@Kevin_Z the problem lies indeed with the subnet. How do is change the subnet in the AX50?

If you want to change the LAN subnet on the AX50 instead on your Homebase 2, be sure that all the other client devices that connect to the AX50 are getting IP addresses automatically, otherwise, you will see they lose the internet connection once you change the subnet on the AX50.
If you are assured of the above and still want to change the LAN subnet of the AX50, please login to the web GUI of the AX50 as follows, then go to Advanced > LAN, there you can change the LAN subnet to be the same as your Homebase 2:

Hi
Just got this reply. Does it make sense to you?
"please make sure the router's TCP port 80, 443 and UDP port 0-65535 are open.

Does this reply you got from the Homebase support? If that is the case, that means you need to open TCP port 80, 443, and UDP port 0-65535 for the Homebase or camera on the router. But before that, I still want to know what is IP address the Homebase got from the AX50, can we confirm that? Be sure that the IP address is obtained automatically on the Homebase or camera.
If they still suggest opening those ports on the router, please go through this guide to do it:

@Kevin_Z yes that's the "support" for all I know the homebase doesn't get an IPadress from the router. Because when I look in the wired devices section of the router the homebase isn't there.
