Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.6 Build 20200902 rel.65591(4555)

Hi Folks,

I managed to get my hands on 4 TP-LINK Archer C6 v2 european.

THis device work well but I'd like to use one as a router and use the other as an access point.

As this Archers C6 is capable of interacting with compatible OneMesh devices, how can I make my router recognizing its siblings acting as AP and talk OneMesh together ?

Thanks.

bw

@terziyski Thanks for your response.

In this regards I have another observation.

I have now three Archer C6 v2 installed (1 acting as a router, 2 acting as access point), and two PLC TL-WPA8635P v3.0 (of course I have the corresponding TL-PA8015 bringing the network from my C6 router).

C6 and PLC Wifi are configured differently. How could I make those speek "OneMesh" together ? Currently none activated this feature.

@terziyski why bother replying to ... not reply ??

yes I understood your point that the device I mention is not in thge list BUT...

Look at my PLC GUI...

Also advertised on the box. Is it also that the PLC adapter act as the "router" and talks only with extenders..?

--> Really thinking about OpenWRT here...

Hello @bwerion,

As per the Onemesh compatibility of the local website, WPA8635P is compatible with Onemesh, you can check this:

https://www.tp-link.com/nl-be/onemesh/product-list/

This is the guide showing how to join the powerline extender to the Onemesh router network. Be sure that you are connecting the powerline extender to the main Archer C6 but not the access points:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2976/

If this is still not working, please tell me the exact hardware and firmware version of the Archer C6 as well as the WPA8635P, then we can further check.
