Model: Deco S4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I bought Deco S4 mesh system to solve the problem of my router being situated in the study upstairs with brick walls - the plan being to put one deco in there, another deco upstairs that would reach the first through the doorway, and then a third downstairs so I can get wifi downstairs. The downstairs deco is connecting to the 'main deco' in the study, meaning that this system, though costing a lot, has not fixed my issue in any way and I can't watch tv without it constantly buffering. Is there any way to get the decos to daisy chain, or a beta firmware for the S4? I can only see one available for the M5. Looking forward to resolving this quickly because as it stands it is not a mesh system in my opinion but just a couple of wifi signal boosters posing as a mesh system.

Hi, The official firmware doesn't support setting connection preference yet but you can install the beta firmware here:

Thank you very much and best regards.
