WIFI 2.4 and 5ghz Freeze until Archer VR 400 is rebooted

In the last few months when I use 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency on the Wi-Fi every two or three days the router network traffic completely freezes and WIFI asks from SSID password again. if I reboot all seems normal but I do get loads of errors in the traffic monitor on both wifi frequencies
Also, I have noticed that when I switch off the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi the Internet user interface becomes very responsive unlike when both frequencies are switched on. The same happens if I switch off only the 5 GHz frequency both are set to an auto channel. I also get faster traffic 10MB/s on LAN 4 when one of the wifi frequencies is turned off but I do get lots of drops (not sure if related see below). It would be great to keep it like this but I do have 2.4 only devices which I cannot use at present so t would be great to have some support.
