hi , when i configure the router in pppoe it tells me username and password i put those of my isp and it works, but even if i try to enter username and password at random the same works, how come putting username and password at random works i a doubt

Hello, can I have the name of your ISP? Does it require any username and password to link to the internet? If the case is true that you can get an internet whatever you put in as the username and password, I will suggest you contact them to confirm.

my isp is tim but if I see on the site it tells me in the username put the phone number while password timadsl, but also casually putting both username and password works

so i can also think that by connecting the router close to the pppoe modem, it is like the modem sees that whatever device connects in pppoe it can enter whatever is username or password
