Hi,

 

For the recent two weeks, im experiencing big issues with WhatsApp connection.

All my mobile devices (IOS & Android) have problems with WhatsApp app - "Connecting" is always shown on the screen.

 

When I turn off the Wifi or disconnecting the Deco and using thr router Wifi - all works well.

I tried to reset the devices + reset the network data - with no success.

 

I think ut is related to the Deco firmware last update.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Well, it is too early to see it is firmware-related.

But I do hope you could help me get more information.

Any chance you could send me a small video clip or screenshots about the error message on the WhatsApp?

And Deco M5 is working under wireless router mode, right?

May I know who Is your internet service provider and what is the model number of your ISP router?

 

When you are available, could you please help me run a simple test:

1. power off the satellite units, only leave the main Deco.

2. enable the guest Wi-Fi for 5ghz only, connect your iPhone or Android devices to the guest Wi-Fi.

3. test whether you would still get the same issue on WhatsApp.

  @RZamir DId you get any solution for this?

I am facing the same Problem with my Deco X20 V4.  Problem exists on both personal and Guest network.

I have raised my hands after buying the poor Deco X20 products from TP link.

finally learnt a lesson to Stay away from their products as they are not even able to fix the basic problems in their devices.

 

 

Would like to get the refund for this purchase ..Not sure if they have ethics to even do that.

This company is just flooding the market with their buggy devices.

 

No response from them on these defects.
