Our main base is Deco x20.
2 other x20 nodes and 3 other E4s are connected to it.
My laptop is literally right beside an X20 node. If I am connected via LAN, speed is 250+ mbps.
But when I connect via wifi, it drops to 60mbps.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks
Hi, have you checked whether you are connected to the 2.4ghz or 5ghz on the Deco APP?
It seemed like the laptop might automatically pick up the 2.4ghz.
Apart from a laptop, if you test via smartphone, will you see the same slow speed issue?

@TP-Link I am connected to 5g as we have disabled the 2.4g already and as I have checked the properties, it says 5g.
With my mobile phone, it's a bit faster at 150mbps. But still a far cry from 250mbps as sometimes I can reach 300mbps via LAN.
My laptop and mobile phone are both 3 inches away from the node. Thank you

1. the wireless link speed on the laptop when it is connected to the 5ghz of main Deco.
How to check the associated/link speed on a wireless client
2. the adapter information on the laptop per link(the last part) :

3. Are the mobile phone and laptop connected to the main Deco X20 or one of the satellite X20?
