RE220 stops transmitting
My RE220 occasionally stops working and the LEDs go out - at least twice a month.
There is no transmission and it cannot be found on Tether.
I have to unplug it and plug it back in again for it to start working again.
It tells me I have the latest firmware installed.

Hello @mikfez
Thank you for the clarification:
- Try a different power socket for RE , make sure it's not the bad contact with the power socket
- If RE switch off at a regular time, like every Friday , e check if it has Power Schedule settings, UG Page43
- Try a factory reset and reinstall it
- RESET: With the extender powered on, use a pin to press the RESET button until most Leds flash once.
May I know when did purchase the extender, and when did the issue start? You could monitor if this happens after factory reset, and tried in a different power socket, if the same issue, I suggest contact retailer or local support to check device warranty.

Hello @mikfez
may I know at RE's location, does the Router/ Host Wi-Fi work stably?
'RE Leds off' means it disconnects from Wi-Fi, that could be caused by some changes on Router WiFi like channel changing, weak WiFi signal or sometimes WiFi interference.
Kindly refer to thread here for some detailed suggestions:
[Troubleshooting] Range Extender Keeps Losing Connection
- Make sure at RE's spot, Router's Wi-Fi is strong and stable
- Try a different WiFi channel on main router
- Turn off Advanced wifi settings onmain router like channel optimizing, or band steering
can you help confirm details requested in the above thread if concern persists, thank you.

@Solla-topee The RE220 is about 10m from the router and works very well with no problems except when it switches itself off.
All the LEDs go out and the RE220 is no longer visible on the network or via Tether. - it's not a case of no longer seeing the router - it's a case of no longer working at all.
I have to unplug it and plug it back in again to get it working.

@Solla-topee I've tried all those things over the last few months but it still switches itself off. I bought it from Amzon and the return window closed on 8 Jun 2021.
