Just checking: Deco M9 Plus V2 Firmware 1.5.6?
Hi TP-Link,
In my app the upgrade to Firmware 1.5.6 Build 20211018 Ref. 35617 just came up.
I noticed this update wasn't on the website yet, so I figured I'd check and have you confirm this is a legitimate upgrade for Deco M9 Plus, thank you!
Regards,
Criz.

I have reset multiple times and rebooted . It now disconnects twice during a day . It's definitely the router and not my internet provider.

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.
The firmware 1.5.6 for Deco M9 plus has been released for a while and so far, no performance issues have been confirmed relevant to firmware upgrade.
@Vityaz I see you are still on firmware 1.5.6 on Deco M9 under the TP-link ID, were you still having the unstable issue now?
@FetUdy For the issue “the Wi-Fi is useless” here, can I have more details about it? What do you mean about the useless Wi-Fi, unstable, slow speed, or something else?
Thank you again and wait for your update.

@FetUdy Yes, it has been resolved for now. I had to downgrade my cable modem (I have a cable internet) . A cable company offered its own router, but I declined the offer because even with this current downgraded modem I get the same speeds as before

@crizthebard I downgraded to version 1.5.3 because 1.5.6 is unstable to me.
I had some connections drops, unstable wifi and unstable speed with 1.5.6, using 1.5.3 I hadn't this problems

I'm OK with the new firmware 1.5.6 on my EU purchased hardware.
But they advise to upgrade to latest version depending on your country of purchase (it may differ, which is odd):
