Archer AC750 C20 V5 doesn't communicate with DHCP server/modem
Hello! So I have the mentioned Archer AC750 C20 V5 router, but no matter what I do it doesn't connect to the iternet, I the modem is using DSL connection/server and it doesn't communicate/give an IP to the router, I tried resetting it, cloning MAC address, changing LAN IP, resetting the modem, but it doesn't want to work...I've been trying for a good 5 days now , and nothing works, it does get a request, checked logs ofc as I said I looked up everything and tried everything but it just doesn't seem to work at all.. Any ideas? Would appriciate if someone could help^^

Hello, may I confirm who is your ISP? Be sure the internet is working fine when you plug a computer directly into the ISP modem or cable. BTW, are you using the C20 in your home or in some kind of dormitory or apartment? Please contact your ISP to confirm if they require any special settings on the router, such as VLAN.

Hi, it's Telekmon/UPC (Hungary) and I directly connected the modem to the laptop and it works fine, so I'm unsure , also it works with the old router I have which was given by them..And I checked the settings there and copied everything into the new one, the C20 and yeah I'm using it in my home.

Is the WAN connection type Dynamic IP or PPPoE that is configured on both the ISP router and the Archer C20? Please send the System Log on the Archer C20 to support.forum@tp-link.com after the connection fails on it, we will check and advise further.

I've forwarded your case to the engineering team for a follow-up. They will investigate to see if it is a concern in the router that can be resolved.
