Hello!

 

First of all Deco X20-DSL is a great product fast and reliable!

Only I have a problem configuring custom DNS.

When you go under Advanced  > IPV4.

It is not possible to set a custom DNS.


This is only possible if you chose quick installation and then Static IP.

It would be nice if it is possible to select a custom DNS with Dynamic IP.

Since the IP is controleld by the internetprovider it is not possible to set a StaticIP.

Hi, when you click the dynamic IP connection under IPv4, there is no response and it did not move forward, or you can go to the next step but there is no option to customize the DNS settings?

If it is the first case, could you please turn off the mobile data/or turn on the airplane mode, force to stop Deco APP; then open the APP again to make sure the APP is on the local control.

@TP-Link Hi, First of all thank you for your answer.

The second thing is the problem. I can go to the next step but there is no option to customize the dns setting. 
 

This is quite problematic since the dns of my internet provider is quite unstable.
